Ph.D. Program CMU-PORTUGAL in the area of Language and Information Technologies

The Language Technologies Institute (LTI) of the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) now offers a dual-degree Ph.D. Program in Language and Information Technologies in cooperation with Portuguese Universities. This Ph.D. program is part of the activities of the recently created Information and Communication Technologies Institute (ICTI), resulting from a Portugal-CMU Partnership agreement.  For more information, see the program website in Portugal.

Note that for this program, this year, we have extended our PhD admissions deadline to June 1, 2008.

Note also that when applying, it is necessary to email both Isabel Trancoso and Alan W Black in addition to filling out the usual LTI PhD application form.
