Submission Guidelines

Submissions will be made in the form of abstracts. While abstracts should focus mostly on the research itself, a couple of sentences situating the work within the larger context of Language Technologies are also appropriate.

Abstracts should not exceed 400 words.

Submissions should be sent to Andy Schlaikjer with the words "SRS 2007 Abstract" in the subject line.

The following file formats are acceptable:

  • Plain Text
  • PostScript
  • PDF
  • MS-Word

Topics of Interest

Any LTI Research conducted by a current LTI student (in the LTI or elsewhere) is appropriate for presentation in the Symposium.

Acceptable topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Speech Recognition

  • Machine Translation
  • Computational Linguistics
  • Information Retrieval
  • Question Answering
